I have an extra pc I want to use to build a PC based Ultrascope, but I have a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P.

The Specs say I can use these Gigabyte boards.

    # Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L
    # Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 (rev 1.0)

Anyone know why these boards are requied and why I couldn’t use the GA-EP45-UD3P?

The boards are listed because we’ve tested them and found that they work. There are also other customers using motherboards not listed with Blackmagic UltraScope but due to the large number of motherboards available, it’s not possible for us to test every single one.

Hey Kristian Lam, is there an internal discussion on any Blackmagic Internal Support sites that I could post that question? I bet if I can ask around, someone has either tried it, or done it already.

    Thanks!
