I’m in the middle of a project where I am using the multi-cam function of Ultimate S – I recently purchased a Mackie Controller, the original version. I’d like to program the Controller so that I can use it as a camera switcher. How would I program the Controller? Is there a driver to make the two compatible?

Any other suggestions of using Ultimate S and a Mackie Controller would be most appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

There is no way that I can see to program the Mackie to run scripts. Sony does not seem to expose scripts in the Mackie assignment dialog like they do in the keyboard remapping dialog. It looks like Mackie support hasn’t been updated since Vegas 4 because it does contain script calls in the Vegas 4 format but not for any later versions.

Unfortunately, you can only control what Sony exposes to the Mackie interface. You should send a Product Suggestion to Sony.
