Typography/motion graphics request!
I am trying to create the effect in the Image below

Notice how the text is in brown color, back ground is grungy white and under the vector ink drops, the text change its color to grey.
In my comp, I have bg, the vector animation, the text! I need to know how to achieve that effect! I feel it is by changing the transfer modes but I am not getting the exact effect.

You could try duplicating the text and vector animation, then setting it to alpha track matte and change the colour of the duplicated text. That’s the most solid way i can think of.
