“type on” effect
Is there an easy way to do the “type on” text effect in AE? Anybody have a short cut they want to share?

This’ll be easy. It’s one of the text presets that comes packaged with AE.
Create your text layer, then choose “Apply Animation Preset.” There are a few different categories of presets, but I believe it’s under “Animate In” or something similar.
