  • Two Batches of Red Footage Have Different Frame Sizes in FCP 7?

I’m new to Red footage, and editing in FCP 7. This project had a 2-part shoot with two different types of Red cameras, and the footage from the first shoot was captured successfully into FCP via the Log and Transfer method, and is partially edited. It’s frame size is 2048×1152. But when I start to log and transfer the second batch of footage, it comes in at a frame size of 2784×1566 which is forcing me to either render everything or turn on Unlimited RT and ignore dropped frames. What can I do to bring in that second shoot footage as the same size as the first shoot? The color corrector is pretty insistent that I not mess up his ability to access the RAW data from DaVinci at the end of the edit.
