Two approaches to C4D as a Film Making Tool and quickest path to mastery
Hi
As a newcomer to C4D, but with some background in other 3D software, i am overwhelmed by the variety of tutorials, both free and fee based available. In terms of using C4D as a tool for filmmaking, there seems to be 2 paths to take
1- Using C4D as a base to create your entire synthetic world and insert and composite supporting footage when necessary
example Alex Roman’s jaw dropping ‘The Third and the Seventh’-clouds and people, although 3dmax was used I’m using just as an example
https://vimeo.com/78096052-Use your live action footage as a base, and with or without motion tracking insert and composite 3d elements into your footage
example – Jordan Clarke’s ‘Box Animation’
https://vimeo.com/7993383My interest and focus is on the latter, integrating 3d elements within live action footage.
Given my stated goal and interest, can any C4D ‘experts’ share with me their recommended ‘path’ or tutorials to digest in order of priority, whether free or fee based?
