Twixtor4.5.11 demo doesn’t appear in Effects bar FCP 5
HI guys,
I tried to install the Twixtor Demo Plugin (https://www.revisionfx.com/products/twixtor/downloads/#fcp I choosed the AE version, because the other works with FSP 6 and higher)) on my Mac OS 10.4 for Final Cut Pro 5.
Everything was successfull.
I’ve choosen “OS X install for FCP on Intel Macs”.
And I can find the plugins in BOOT Volume/Library/Apllication Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/ Plugins
But when I restart the Mac and FCP it doesn’t appear in the Effects menu either in the effects bar.Maybe it was installed in the wrong Plugin folder.
Is there a opportunity to find out where my FCP searches for the plugin?Any other Ideas? I got now more ideas what I could have done wrong, or what is wrong with my FCP 5.

First, make sure you are running FCP 5.1 or later. FCP didn’t add support for AE plugins on INtel Mac until version 5.1 . If you have version 5, you can update to version 5.1 by simply running Apple’s Software Update in the System Preferences.
Second: try accessing the plugin by using the menu item Effects->Video Filters->RE:Vision Plug-ins->Twixtor 4.5.
Hopefully that will get you going.
