Twixtor speed conversion
Posted by Rob Micai on February 23, 2011 at 7:04 pmIf I shoot 125fps on the RED in 2k – how slow can I convert this footage to in Twixtor and still remain in HD quality?

February 24, 2011 at 12:08 amWell, Twixtor is a plugin and works with whatever the host application converts the RED footage to. So are you happy with the program you are using to edit this footage? For example, RED is easily read into After Effects (and then you can apply Twixtor with AE). We also support many other applications, like FCP, Premiere Pro, etc.
What host application would you want to use Twixtor within?

February 24, 2011 at 12:36 amGreat. You are home free.
just use Twixtor within AE. Why don’t you download the demo and try it out? There’s a manual that’s installed with the plugin upon installation… so be sure to look for it.
Also, we have help tutorials here at the Cow! https://library.creativecow.net/tutorials/revisionfx/2 (start at the bottom and work backwards, they are in reverse chonological order…
