I am trying to create a TV tube from an old style television. It needs to be slightly round. I can’t seem to figure out how to do it. I will be adding a layer map of video on it, so it has to be proportional as well. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Keith,

Given the organic complexity of the shape, you’ll probably have to build it in pieces.

I’d recommend using a rectangle 3×4 aspect ratio with a custom bevel for the front and a separate piece for the rear of the tube, again with a custom bevel. If Serge reads this, my bet is he’ll take it as a challenge and try to build one. 😉

I really only need the front of the tube, because I will have it sit inside of the actually tv box. If that make any sense. I will keep playing with it and let you know how it turns out.
