  • TV screen turning on, or, bad TV signal FX in AFX 6.5?

Posted by Keith Mann on September 8, 2005 at 9:41 pm

We’re doing a video wall FX and would like to have the first screen flicker on and stablize – just like an old fashioned tv used to do. Later, we want a TV screen to be unstable -rolling, flickering, ect.

Any advice on how to do this wouold be greatly appreicated.

    Thanks in advance

Search posts and include archives. This has been answered in pretty good ways.

This is a photoshop filter for windows I made to simulate bad TV, as I remember it, trying to watch the late night horror movies in the early sixties, as the wind shifted and the tv picture became almost unrecoginizable. Set rst above 0 to animate noise pattern, rnd to increase randomness and y to alter vertical pattern.
