    hey guys
    what do I use in order to make a frame look as a TV frame
    I have a shot that I need to give the felling as if it was shot from a TV, how do I change the borders and what effects should I add

    get a camera, play the shot out to a tv, and re-record it off of the tv!

    go to the after effect tutorial page there is a video on this topic.
    of course it is meant for AE but will give you an idea of what is involved in producing the look within FCP.

    digital heaven also have a plugin you could check out.
