Turning two points into position, rotation and scale
I’ve completely forgotten how to do this:
I have two points tracked to two separate solids.
i want to turn these two layers into position, rotation and scale of a new layer. How do I do that?

Before, you tracked, you shouold have selected to track for these transforms in the motion Tracker Window.

The two points of tracking data didn’t come from one pass of motion tracker — they were averaged and adjusted using Mackdadd’s killer TrackViz scripts.

Take a look at the Expression for either LookAt or PointAt. The script animated a layer’s rotation by making it point/look at towards/at another layer. The lookAt Expression method is in the Help files, IIRC.
For more info, perform a COW Search for the two terms mentioned.
