turning to coal
I want to create an effect when a cartoon character who stroked by a lightning and turns to coal and then the coal scatters in the wind-whats the best way to achieve that effect?

Add a Fill effect to your layer, animate the opacity and use Shatter to fragment your layer (animate the forcefields).
