    Hello,
I am planning to convert a object in to dust in after effects.
the building would spin around a while and then turns to dust which eventually blows away in the wind.
I have no clue how to achieved this.. Help.
    Thank you

not easy, I have used shatter with the pieces set at the smallest possible, and mixed it with a bunch of other filters to aid in the illusion. But that only goes so far. Obviously, if you have mad skills and own maya, a true hi end particle system is the true way to go, but not all of us are there yet. I have a sample of letters blowing away that is sort of close to what your talking about, on my demo reel.

I just finished watching a tutorial by Andrew Kramer about creating stylized 3d buildings in AE. Once that’s in place, can’t you just use something like CC Particle Playground?

For the record, I meant Pixel Polly.
