  • Turn off: delete everything from in point to out point on tracks selected

    Hi,

I was wandering if you could stop premiere deleting everything on the timeline between the In point and the Out point on the tracks that are selected/ highlighted when the timeline panel is selected and you hit the delete key.

I was hoping to keep using the delete key when actually selecting various parts of the timeline just stop it deleting everything from the in to out point when nothing in the timeline panel is selected,

A few times ive opened a project, accidentally hit the delete key when the time line panel is selected, carried on working before realising further down my time line where In and Out points were set ive deleted a bunch of stuff I didnt want to delete and by that point the history doesnt go back far enough.

I know I can go in to the autosaves to recover but its a pain and sometimes the auto saves dont have what i removed.

    Thanks
