Trying to squeeze and AE file that is intended to be 16:9
I have a video that will be displayed on a large 16:9 screen. The AE artist made the video (for now) 4:3 so that we can squeeze it in FCP while we finish the project.
We’ve tried changing the Sequence Settings to 16:9 anamorphic and other options, but nothing works.
How do we squeeze this video?

Change the aspect ratio in the motions tab under the distort twirl-down to:
-33.33 or
33.33I forget which goes which way.
Check this out too: Might be a bit ‘beginner’ for what you’re trying to do, but it does deal with working with 4:3 and 16:9 footage in the other’s sequences…
