I have been on the forums a lot, I stalk and wait like a lion in the wild, waiting for a the right time to chime in for help!

Im not going to lie, waited to long to post and forum signed me out after I had typed a huge long story/process. This is going to be a short version of the master piece I just wrote and lost. Also I broke my keyboard in anger.

I have seen two different filters, like them both just wanting to know if anyone has used them or know how to create them or can link me to a page.

in the beginning you can see this blurred circle effect that is almost overlaid on the video as when the scenes change so does that effect!

SECOND

I rented kick-ass from redboxed it last night with the girl friend

look at the lamp, I have seen this effect around where it seems like bright lights get this streaky effect

help would be great, sorry its not more in-depth and funnier. I wrote this last night took about 20 mins and now my keyboard is broken and I can’t rewrite it!

I think you are after a combination of flare, bokeh and anamorphic light streaks.
Google is always a good first stop, but this should help too

Those things from video co pilot were exactly what I was looking for! I feel stupid because I bought Action Essentials from his site but didn’t bother to look at the other things he had to offer!

If you don’t mind me asking have you had much experience with these optical flares?
