Trying to ingest XDCAM EX footage for the first time, please help
I have just been given some xdcam ex footage and searched on the forum for how to ingest it. I’ve downloaded clip browser, but it still isn’t obvious what to do, I don’t seem to have any extra import options in FCP and when I open clip browser it doesn’t seem obvious.

Please tell us that they gave you an exact duplicate of the complete BPAV folder from the SxS cards. If not, immediately smack the client upside the head with a rotten trout and demand the original BPAV folders from the SxS cards.

Yes Alan, no need to smack them upside 🙂 they gave me the BPAV and thanks for the link Shane, followed the instructions and am now happily editing XDCAM footage.
