    I can’t access your file.
A general advise is to make it .ai or try the oldest native filetype Illustrator can export.
    good luck

all the ‘eye-shaped’ splines in the window are doubled you need to delete the extra copies

…and it appears all the other inner splines are tripled, go into point mode and click a single point then move it a bit to see the point underneath, click that point and move it…

you are going to have to clean the eps up before you import it (or go through and delete them by hand in C4D)

What is the best way to clean up the EPS file?

if you have the original file (illustrator/ Freehand/ Corel whatever) then just delete splines there, if you don’t then you have to delete the extra splines in C4D after import. On import I get a null with 17 splines as children, the eye-shaped bits are duplicated as seperate splines (Path 1 and Path 26 are in the same place for example) those you can clean up by just clicking on the splines in the Object Manager and deleting one of the two in the same place (some of the ‘eye’ splines are not closed so you will have to check that off). The other splines are all inside Path 18 so you have to be in point mode to select a point then do a select connected to get the rest of the spline then delete. The big ellipse only has one spline but the rest have either two or three copies in the same place.
