Trying to get ready for film festival
Am trying to meet a deadline for a film festival. The movie was shot in digital video and on location. Been trying to clean up sound but some of it was shot in bowling alley (closed at the time) auditoriums (people were really generous with their locations) and am trying to clean up some of the sound…
A few questions..
1. The sound obviously sounds like it was shot on location…but is that good or bad…some Hollywood movies have totally recorded voiceovers so they sound the same wherever they are but others take that sound and change it (for example in Batman Begins, the cavelike reverb when they are in the Batcave) so which to go with.
On the sound that doesnt clean up so well…what is the cheapest and quickest way (note cheapest) way to re record that sound…Dat, mini disc…etc.
Any suggestions would be helpful…….
