I have tried several times to create a droplet from an action using the create a droplet from the file menu. Each time I get the following error message. “Could not create droplet file because the volume format is not supported.” I have no idea what that message is telling me. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I am on a Mac and using Photoshop CS. Thank you.

  • My co-worker helped to figure out the problem. I was trying to save the droplet to me desktop. The problem is my Mac computer (desktop) is looped throught a PC campus server and Photoshop wasn’t liking the PC thing. I needed to save the droplet directly to my harddrive (which isn’t looped through the PC campus server). When I did that everything worked fine.
