I am editing a dance recital and inserted chapters/markers for each routine in my project in Vegas. I import the rendered movie into DVD Architec but cant seem to figure out how to get the individual chapters to be created in the scene selection menu. I know I have done this in the past but it was sometime ago and i have forgotten. What Im trying to accomplish is I have 20 routines in the recital. I want to create scene selection menus for 1-5 then 6-10 etc. with thumbnails for each routine. Any idea what im missing? Ive tried dbl clicking the file and in the edit screen load markers, but nothing happens, then i tried adding markers to the project ans save markers, but when i go into the scene selection menu i only have 1 thumbnail, help!

    Hi,

When rendering out from Vegas make sure ‘save project markers …’ is checked.
Then DVDA imports these markers as chapters automatically.

    Hope I could help.

right click the main movie and choose – is something like ‘insert scene selection menu’ IIRC

if you didn’t save the chapter markers when you rendered in Vegas simply go into the main movie and stretch out the timeline (easier to see that way) and insert your chapter markers there in DVDA. You can’t insert a scene selection if DVDA doesn’t see any scenes. NOW that you have the chapter markers in place you can set you scene selection menus.

Thanks for the advice, i did just that and it was way easier to get the chapters and scene selection to work.
