    trying to animate Bubbles or Particles alone a path in a tube??

    Hi All,

    I know I have seen this done before, i am trying to animate Bubbles or Particles alone a path (in a tube),
    The particles need to move along a curved path and not go outside the constrains of a the tube.

    If anyone can point me in the direction of how to do this with the stock AE plugins or if it is not possible what 3rd party plugs i need it would be greatly appreciated.

    Was doing some searching because I don’t personally know how to achieve this, but it looks like someone may have included a project file in this post on Video Copilot that may achieve what you are looking for!

    edit: Although it looks like he is using particular, so I’m not sure if that is required or if you can use the stock particle plugins or not!

    AE’s built-in Foam plugin will do this. More info here – https://helpx.adobe.com/en/after-effects/using/simulation-effects.html#foam_effect.

    Pay particular attention to the use of a Flow Map which dictates the confines of particles created by Foam.
