I figured out that I was supposed to set the synchro scan rate to match the lights after the fact I realized that emitted light like a computer monitor. But now my footage has this horrible annoying colored flickered strobe effect to it due to the lights not being synched to the cams. How would I alter this in post in FCP? I know I can do it next time at this venue with some setup, but after the fact…I have no idea. PLEASE HELP…its for a burlesque troop

    THANKS!

I think there’s a third choice to try, which is processing the video through VirtualDubMod.

I had a whole sequence I had shot with an NTSC camera in a 50Hz country, so fluos were flickering all over. Put the stuff (DV shot on a PD170) through VDM and it came out great.
