    Hi,first of all i’m sorry for my english,but now i need an help.I’m Dario from italy and I have some file mpeg2 from a sony camera with hdd. To use the files in FCP6 i converted this file in .dv and then in .mov and in both of the case the transitions (all the transitions) does not work. Why? There’s someone who can help me? Thanks.     Your English is fine, it’s our conceit that Americans refuse to learn more than one language.

    .dv is not supported by FCP but it is supported by iMovie.
    Convert your movies to .mov using the DV codec, not DV Stream, which produces the .dv files.
