    Hello,

I have some materials shot using EX1 cams and I directly moved the files as they are from the SXS cards into the laptop using the slot supported by the MACPro, now i can see the files and also can play it but when i try to do the log and transfer through fcp7 it say that its not supported knowing that i did the same procedure before and worked with other materials but the the files used to be names BPAV. Now I think the problem is that i renames the BPAV into the camera name but its still have the same content. Also when am trying o import it with the XDCAM Transfer sometime it say failed and sometimes it don’t do any importing at all.
I can also open with MPEG Stream clip and also import it directly from the hard disk to the final cut but the materials will be in clips not full media.
    Any advise please?

    many thanks.

The BPAV folders must be named “BPAV”.
Put each of them inside a different folder with the name of your convenience and try L&T those folders.
