    I am making a lower third template and can’t get this expression to work right.

    I have the shape layer I want to size(red square) to the text layer. The problem is when you add ascender letters(i.e. “y”). The shape layer sizes from the center and the text box just adjusts down. This makes an offset to where the red box’s position is and it doesn’t line up correctly.

    I have adjusted the anchor point and still changes nothing…

    Any thoughts?

    x=20
    y=thisComp.layer("TEXT 2").sourceRectAtTime().height+20;

    [x,y]
