Guess this is not really a Final Cut issue, but as we´re connected with xSAN, I don´t know where else I should ask.

Recently on a number of users connected to the xSAN using Final Cut Pro, we have been experiencing some odd issues. When opening the System Preferences in Mac OS X and choosing “Sound” or “Mouse and Keybord” (or anything else) the whole System Preferences stops and get into “Not responding”

Shutdown and Restart functions does not react at all and will only work in Terminal.

Deleting the whole network user and start over again seemd to help for a little while, but now everything is back at it was (just a couple of days after).

Any ideas what would be the reason for this behavior?

I’ve already tried this, with no luck.
The funny thing is that it is happening on several computers connected to the xSAN, so I think it might be some network/server issues?
