    Did you render everything in the sequence before exporting? Did you mxi down the audio before exporting? What are you exporting to? What function are you using exactly and what settings? And where are you trying to get to with the export?

    A few suggestions:
    Close any other sequence that is open, Quit all other applications, and if all else fails, a restart of Final Cut sometimes works.

    If your transfering HD make sure your computer can handle it.
