Trouble Rigging Hinge Setup
Hi Folks,
I am trying to rig a hinge for a door setup and need some help.
The principle is a motorized arm will rise up pushing the brackets and mechanism to raise and hold a door open at 80 degrees. I have tried to use IK joints but I am not sure the exact setup, this is new to me and seems complex.
Does anyone know what a typical setup would be for a hinge mechanism?
I cannot seem to upload a photo either, will keep trying.

it’s hard to know without seeing it but physics has hinges etc.
