Trouble importing VC1 video
I was wondering if this can actually been done because the error I got from Encore seemed to be pretty generic.
Basically I have 1920×1080 25 HD VC1 footage that was output from Cinevision and I’d like to use it in Encore CS4 but I’m getting this message:
“The software that’s used to decode the media is not available on this system. Installing the correct decoders for the files your are working with may help to correct the problem”
Does anyone know if there is a VC1 decoder for download, and/or if Encore will accept VC1 files?
GSpot v2.70a opens the file just fine if that helps.

Why VC-1? That died with HD DVD
