Trouble Deleting Previous System folder
Can someone help with deleting the previous system folder?
I have recently done an archive and install on Leopard to cure a problem I had with my Keychain. This resulted in the Previous System Folder being stored in the hard drive. I have tried to delete this folder to free up space and each time I do it, it goes through the deletion process resulting in the trash can sound. However, after this process the folder is still there and cannot be deleted,
any ideas how to clear this out?

When you try to empty the trash are you getting any dialogue windows coming up telling you why the trash is not being emptied?

Many thanks for trying to hlp. I don’t get anything other than the trash can audio confirmation. After that when I look in the trash, there is nothing in there and the Previous System Folder returns where it originally was located.

Thx Zane but it doesn’t get in the trash in the first place to do a secure empty. I try to delete it and it says it is processing the delete and even confirms the end of the process with the trash can audio clip. However, there is nothing in there afterwards and the folder returns to the original location!

Repair disk permissions and try again.
