    Trimpac 14 Batteries on PMW-EX3

    Hi folks. I looking at purchasing a PMW-EX3 with the Anton Bauer QR-EX3 Gold Mount. I have some brand new Trimpac 14 batteries that I would like to use with this camera. I’m wondering if the larger size of this battery compared to the Dionic-90 will cause any issues. Has anybody tried this battery setup?

    Went I got the QR-EX3 adapter for my EX-3, I was told not to put any battery that weight more than 1 lb. on it, as if you use a heavier battery, it just may weaken the mount and damage the QR-EX3. I have Dionic 90 batteries and 1 will last you all day. So I would weight your batteries and see.

    Thanks for the info Bill! The Trimpac14 weighs about 2.5 pounds, So I’ll have to keep that in mind. I also read somewhere that the size of the Trimpacs might keep them from mounting properly on the QR-EX3.
