Trimmer and Timeline problems: external preview
When I switch back and forth between the trimmer window and the timeline, my external display disappears. In general, when I click back in the timeline and hit play, it takes a few seconds before the external display starts working. I hit play and I can hear the audio, the picture stays black, then it finally kicks in.
I suspect it has something to do with my video card, Matrox Parhelia driving two displays. I have the preview set to IEEE OHCI, but when I capture video, my second VGA monitor suddenly goes into full screen preview mode and shows what is being captured. It’s a bit odd, but doesn’t seem to hurt anything.
Any ideas about the long trimmer window delays and lack of preview?
