I’m working on Premiere Pro CS3. Just finished a project. When I
go into Project Manager and create a Trimmed Project everything
seems ok. But when I go back into it a week later it seems to have
all “RED FRAMES” on the main time line. Also, when I open a trimmed
project, it starts asking me where this and that folder are. I thought that if I created a trimmed project, everything was self contained?? It seems that it still is asking for particular files
in order to open the project. Does anyone know what’s going on with
    this program?

As far as red frames go, the first thing I try is rebooting. If that does not work, then clear the scene on the timeline and lay it in again from the Project Panel.

Brian, thanks for your input on the red frames. But still no luck with rebooting or taking project folder from the project bin. If I open the trimmed project separate from the software it’s all there. It’s just
when I try to import to PPro cs3 that it gives me a big window saying where’s this file, but on and on till
the very last file … I hope this makes sense? Please help me fix this issue. Very Frustrating!
