  Trimmed project directory structure in PP

  Hey –

  I have a rather large project with a very organized folder structure (to clarify: I’m referring to the folder structure WITHIN the project, as opposed to the folder structure on the disk.)

  After making a trimmed project through project manager, the new trimmed project doesn’t have the same directory structure. A number of the files that were in folders are moved to the root of the directory structure, while some are still within the original folders. I haven’t figured out the pattern.

  Is there any way to guarantee that the directory structure of the trimmed project is the same as the original?

  BTW – I realize that after trimming all of the trimmed assets are copied to one file folder on disk. I’m wondering why, within Premiere Pro, the new folder structure doesn’t match the original and is there anything I can do about it.
