Trim Tool FCP 7.0.3 Makes Audio Pop?
Hi all:
Has anyone noticed any faulty behavior using the trim tool in Final Cut Pro 7.0.3? Specifically, when I use the trim tool to modify an edit point by a few frames (forward or back), thereafter, the audio playback of that sequence is distorted — pops, cracks, stutters, not smooth, even areas outside the trim. (An export of that sequence has no problems).
If I were to trim that edit by hand (not using the tool), the audio stays fine.
Trashed prefs, repaired permissions, reinstalled FCP from scratch, ran speed test on my drives, everything looks good / acts good, until I use that trim tool.
Thoughts? Suggestions on fix? (For now I’m just not using the tool at all to doubly confirm no further audio distortions without it).
Thanks!
Ben
