I’m wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to trim the layers in my composition.
I know if I press Alt/Option + [ will get the job done but that will leave a ‘semi transparent’ area before the IN point.
Then I have to manually drag the area to my IN point.
SO is there a shortcut to trim layer and cut the layer ‘clean’ without those semi transparent area?

The semi-transparent part indicates that your layer has been trimmed. As far as I know, there is no way to remove it. I’m confused as to why you need to, other than for personal aesthetic preference? If you want to start your layer at the playhead without manually dragging, use [ or ] (bracket keys).
