    Triggering a 430EX II with a 580 EX II

    The manual tells you how to trigger another flash with the 580 EX II on, but I was wondering if I could trigger another flash with the 580 EX II (the main flash) off.

    I’d like to avoid investing in a Speedlite Trigger right now.

    Crap. Not sure if this was the right forum.

    But I’m using a Canon 5D. The old version.
