trial-and-error
I’ve found “trial-and-error” term in a couple of tutorials and I don’t know what it is.Can someone exple to me what is trial-and-error,please?

Trial and error means basically adjusting parameters until you get the look you want. An example is a treatment of video. Due to the neature of video, each shot can look different, therefore the instructor can give a base of what to do, but he/she will refer to trial and error menaing that you need to play with a parameter to get the look that you desire.
