    Hi!

I’m not the best with English words, so I’m gonna send a link to better explain what I’m talking about:

    Check this out:

Except from the poor web-quality, the white background, and the poor bluekey in some of the pictures
what is wrong with the way everything I do in AE turns out.
Whenever there is motion in the picture…as in motion in picture or animation like this, things passing the screen, or text– well any kind of motion in general, it looks like the picture lags, or gets some kind of vibration. I’m not sure if you get my point, but I hope so.

What can be the problem with this?

I’m using AE 6.5 on MAC G5 with BlackMagic DeckLink SDI.

I think what I am seeing here is an interlacing flicker. Try picking your clip and under the effects menu choose video/Reduce Interlace Flicker.

You might also experiment with slowing down the horizontal movement as well. Fast horizontal movement can sometimes create that “tearing” stuttering motion that you’re seeing.

Looking frame by frame everything seems to be normal. Just jittery when in motion. Out of curiosity have you tried a render with Motion Blur on to see the results? Are you getting this look on your SDI monitor?
