Trashing preferences – how? what is it?
“Trash the preferences” keeps popping up in this forum.
What exactly am I doing? What changes will I see? Will this mean i have to go and reset my user preferences etc?
I’m looking in the Preferences folder right now, loads of files but I can see only one that looks like the right one: “com.apple.RegFinalCutStudio.plist”
(No FinalCutPro specific files). Is this the one? I read that I should be trashing a group of files.S Bedford, Western Australia
