  Trasferring a Region 4 DVD to Region 1

  What would be the quickest way to convert a Region 4 DVD to Region 1?
  I’ve used MPEG Streamclip before to convert a region 2. However, this method is quite time consuming as you have to convert the files, render them on a time line, and then compress over night. I’m sure there is a more efficient way than what I’ve done previously. Can anyone offer some advice?
