Trapcode Shine with 3d layers and cameras

April 2, 2005 at 12:49 amI have a technical question, every time I try to use trapcode shine with AE pro 6.5 while compositing with 3D layers, my preview always gets garbled… The shine looks more like incredibly aliased streaks running through the entire composition window from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. Is this a problem with 6.5 Pro and Shine, or is this a problem with my computer. (3ghz, 2 gb ram)? Any advice?

April 2, 2005 at 4:16 amDo you have the latest version of Shine? I seem to recall having this problem until I upgraded.

April 2, 2005 at 7:38 pmI am not entirely sure which version of shine I have. I was trying to figure out the problem last night, and I noticed that it only happens when I have my quality set to “third” it works just fine for Full, Half, and Quarter, but for some reason it went crazy on third. Who knows. I guess for now I can simply RAM preview at half or quarter as to avoid the problem. Thanks for researching this one for me… I will look into the newer version of Shine.
