    Hi there,

I have a particle set up that is affected by wind. (Particles crossing the screen) And I am trying to have the particles be emitted at a slow velocity and hang around a bit before being taken by the wind

Anyone know how this is possible? Only way I could think is using physics time factor to slow them and time reverse the video?

    Thanks in advance!
    James

I’m sure there are a number of ways you could do this.
You could precompose your particles, create another precomp containing a solid with a gradient on it.
Then, in your main comp, apply a Time Displacement effect on your particle precomp and drive it with the precomp containing the gradient.
