I 3d motion tracked a scene and exported it as a Maya After Effects file. AFter effects read it fine and loaded my selected points as null objects and brought in the camera perfectly. Now when i add a solid layer and apply the particular plugin the effect disappears. I realised that it is out of the cameras view because the zoom on the camera is at 1200 and is keyed there by the 3d motion tracking program. Ive seen trapcode used with motion tracked cameras does anybody know how to sink the two together so the scale is right? Sorry for the long question i just wanted everyone to know everything about what i did

I think the easiest thing to do would be to create a light, give it the same position coords as one of the null objects that the 3D tracker created, and then use the light as the emitter for Particular.

That should put the particles in the scene, then you can tweak them to get it right. Remember to take the velocity and emitter size into account as well.
