  • Transparent background…. then not.

    Hello,

I decided to use LiveType to create some animated titles and other titles which were not animated.

When I use them in Final Cut Pro 7 the animated titles have a transparent background while the still titles do not.

While creating either of the titles I saw the checkerboard background which indicated transparency.

Anyway of fixing this without having to create the non animated title all over again? There are quite a lot.

    Thanks for info

Not in front of my computer right now but in the project settings there’s a check box for something like “include background in render” or something. Uncheck it. I think if it’s checked it’ll make a default black background.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I opened Livetype and found that the option “background render” was already unchecked.

Then checked it and ran a test.

Still I get a black background, not a transparent one.

I guess I will have to re-do all text in Text, which I tested and does bring a transparent background into FCP 7.

    Thanks and be well,

    Bert
