    Hey Guys,

I’m trying to create a shadow from a light that is directed at my mortis (letterboxes) to project back on the transparency so that when I export with alpha it will show up on whatever video they place the letterboxes over. I’ve seen this done a hundred times I just cant figure it out.

Thanks so much for your help.

Use Multiply mode? Unmultiply the shadow from a white background? There’s several ways of achieving this.

Not sure what you mean by unmultiply the shadow. I can only use mulitiply mode on a layer. The shadow is connected to the layer. Sorry, I’m new to this.
