  Transparency NOT Displaying Properly when Exported as PNG

  I am creating a website in Dreamweaver and needed to take an image and make the edges transparent.

  I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool at 20% Feather around the picture. I then Inversed the selection and deleted the area (border) around the image.

  It looks good and gradients from the picture to alpha.

  But when I export as a PNG I can still see the corners of the photo! They are faded, but still quite visible. Some of the background color comes through, but not as much as it should.

  Anybody know what is going wrong when I export?
