Transparency
Hi,
When i import a Photoshop File with a transparent background into Final Cut Pro It keeps the transparency so that i can can place layers over eachother as shown in this screenshot https://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j33/Gully_89/Picture4-3.png
However when i do this in Adobe after effects, It does not recognise the transparency and creates a black layer where you should be able to see the lower layer (the cars) as shown in this screenshot https://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j33/Gully_89/Picture5-2.png
Is there a box in after effects i’m not ticking or something?

In the render queue you need to render out the alpha channel (RGB+Alpha) if you want the transparnecy to show up in rendered movies…you also need to render out to a CODEC that supports alpha channels.
